All too often,  IT projects incur challenges, change in scope or at worse fail.  Some of these can and do result in protracted litigation.    In order to mitigate the risk of failure,  Casabe & Co are able to review every aspect of the project life cycle, to identify and manage potential challenges before they develop into real problems.

Project Management and Risk Assessment

We provide point-in-time assessments to establish if a system project is ready to commence, proceeding as planned, achieving expected results, implementing controls or ready to go live. The process involves the identification of risks in project critical areas including project management, team composition, methodology, controls system features and development procedures.

We continually evaluate the project status against industry standards to identify potential risks and all areas for improvement

Testing and Acceptance Support

We facilitate and conduct testing during each stage of the project life cycle. This involves independent assessment of unit, integration, system or user acceptance testing to ensure they qualify and thoroughness of the test approach, plans and any associated scripts. We also provide test development and management in order to assist users as they develop, execute, document and manage tests.

Troubled Project Turnaround

We evaluate all projects that are behind schedule, over budget, producing low quality results or partly implemented and work with clients to define and establish the steps required to progress. As the progression continues, we can help monitor the effectiveness of these changes
