Legal & Compliance

Regulation and Compliance

There is a raft of technological legislation and standards which effects organisations today.  Too often the impact of legislation or regulation changes,  can fundamentally change the way an organisation conducts its business.  Failing to address new requirements,  can leave an organisation vulnerable, both commercially and legally.    Casobe & Co have a team of technical professionals to assist with relevant impact analysis, migration planning an organisational change,  to ensure that  an organisation is both aware of its obligations, and can achieve practical compliance as may be required.

Technical Contracts and Intelectual Property

Technology often accounts for over 15% of capital expenditure.  Projects and supplier support contracts can often be a stumbling block with one or all parties feeling unsure or uncomfortable with the proposal,  and not too certain how the proposed contract will effect operational efficiency.  For example,  if you are permitting a support vendor access onto your systems and networks,  you need to ensure that their activity is regulated and controlled,  in line with your corporate policy.   Too often,  sales and project schedules are not fully incorporated into supplier agreements effectively,  resulting in contractually correct deliverables,  but leaving a high exposure for the organisation.    At Casobe we understand technical and commercial risk,  and work with organisations to ensure that all parties speak a common language, so that obligations and requirements are clearly defined, accepted and managed.

At Casabe,  we understand the importance and commercial sensitivity of data and systems,  themselves providing commercial advantage.  Quite often as new technology is  discovered,  organisations need to safeguard their interests and protect all intellectual property created by virtue of employees, suppliers and commercial trade.
